Now that we’ve helped you choose your new floor covering, it’s time to get it out of our warehouse showroom and into your house! Our passion is providing the floor your house deserves at the price you want, and the final stage of that process is flooring installation. We are proud to offer professional carpet and tile installation, done the right way the first time. All of our new floor installation experts are trained installers under professional project planning and supervision. They are eager to get to work! They are highly skilled at all types of flooring installation, including:
The first step of the installation process involves having one of our estimators come out and check the exact measurements of the room. This confirms exactly how much flooring product you need. It also allows us to keep costs low and effectively plan for the hardwood or laminate installation process. After we’ve made the plan, we’ll schedule the date for new floor installation. As part of our commitment to customer service, our top priority is to ensure your floor covering is installed on time and on budget.
Once the date is set, it is important that you prepare a few things throughout the house for the day of installation. The temperature in your home must be at least 65 degrees (F) during carpet installation or vinyl installation to protect the new material. Also, make sure the electricity is turned on for any power tools that might be needed.
If you are using our furniture moving service, please make sure that any breakables, such as china, porcelain, or pictures in frames, are removed from the top of your furniture and placed in a safe place. Items that require special handling, such as aquariums and pianos, will require special notice in order for our movers to bring the right equipment to move them.
Before the installation begins, the old flooring usually needs to be removed. We can help remove most flooring types, although if it is old vinyl installation, we will have to direct you to an asbestos-removal company. After the installation is complete, some of your room’s molding might need to be refitted. In addition, you may need to trim your doors to accommodate the new flooring. We can direct you to a qualified person to accomplish either of these tasks. We guarantee all of our installations for the expected lifetime of the floor and are always available to service your beautiful, durable floors.
